Raised on a steady diet of books and Disney movies, Renée was practically predestined to have a love of words. Leaving her small Central New York town for Boston, MA, Renée received her B.A. in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College and cofounded the Boston Teen Author Festival during her senior year. After trying her hand at digital marketing in New York City for several years, she discovered that she had left her heart in Boston and promptly returned. Renée has recently completed her MLS in Library Science with a youth services focus from Simmons University, and lives in Cambridge, MA with her sweet calico cat, a hoard of books, and far too many owl-shaped things.
